The Roland XS-42H video switcher can connect and display a reassuring variety of sources. This is accomplished in two ways: EDID and scaling. EDID (or Extended Display Identification Data) tells your PC or tablet the correct resolution to output, so you never have to get involved. Scaling allows you to connect, switch and display between a variety of different sources and resolutions - so no matter what's coming in, it'll come out just fine.

Replace blank screens with something special

When a computer is unplugged, the XS-42H can automatically revert to a specified input instead of the typical black screen of an empty input. This allows you to display a stored still image with your company logo, meeting room name, or a connected Apple TV or Chromecast screensaver. You can also provide a nice greeting to attendees before the meeting starts.

Connect to better speakers for superior sound

While most LED and LCD TV panels look great, sound is often an afterthought. The Roland XS-42H includes stereo RCA outputs for connection to external speakers or soundbars , for vastly superior audio quality.
